When you use Demirifadue, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and business/organisation name provided at registration
• Memorial content: obituaries, photographs, service schedules, and tribute messages you upload
• Usage data: page views, tribute submissions (IP-hashed for rate limiting), and link click analytics
• Payment data: billing details processed by our payment partners (we do not store card numbers)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Platform and your account
• To process payments and send billing notifications
• To send service-related communications (account alerts, broadcast confirmations)
• To improve the Platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave, Hubtel, Stripe) to complete transactions
• SMS/WhatsApp providers (Arkesel, mNotify, Twilio, Meta Cloud API) to deliver broadcasts you initiate
• Hosting and infrastructure providers under strict confidentiality agreements
• Law enforcement when required by applicable Ghanaian law

4. Public Memorial Pages

Memorial pages you mark as "published" are publicly accessible. This means the deceased's name, obituary, service details, photos, and approved tributes are visible to anyone with the link. Please consider this before publishing sensitive information.

5. Data Retention

We retain memorial content for as long as your subscription is active, plus a 90-day grace period after cancellation. Account data is retained for 3 years for legal and billing purposes. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@xedenyui.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and restricted access to production systems. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform.
